Description

If you’re looking for a quick, healthy dinner that delivers juicy, flavorful chicken without the fuss of a stove top or oven, an air-fryer does the trick. This recipe yields two perfectly cooked, tender chicken breasts  seasoned with a classic Mediterranean blend.

With just a handful of pantry staples and a pre-heated air fryer, you can have two perfectly seasoned, moist chicken breasts on the table in under 20 minutes. Ingredient

Method

  1. Preparation

    1. Pat dry the chicken with paper towels. If one end of a breast is noticeably thicker, gently pound it with a meat mallet until the thickness is uniform—about ½ to ¾ inches—so it cooks evenly.
    2. Drizzle the olive oil over both sides of the breasts. In a small bowl, whisk together the salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and oregano. Rub this spice mixture thoroughly into the meat, coating both sides.
    3. Preheat the air fryer to 375 °F (190 °C).

Place the seasoned breasts in a single layer inside the fryer basket—no overlapping.

    1. Cook for 10–15 minutes, flipping the chicken halfway through. The exact time depends on the size of the breasts; the goal is a golden-brown exterior and a fully cooked interior.
    2. Use an instant-read thermometer: the chicken is safe to eat when the thickest part reaches 165 °F (74 °C).
    3. Transfer the breasts to a plate and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Resting allows the juices to redistribute, keeping each bite succulent.
